Can you get pregnant without penetration

I'm only 16 and me and my boyfriend had our first sexual interaction. We're both virgins. I jacked him off and he came and after about 5 mins fingered me but with his other hand that he hadn't jacked off with we cleaned up some of his semen but I sat on his boxers where it was and our hands with it were dry and we wiped it on his shirt as well. I'm so paranoid. I was naked and his penis and my vagina never made contact but is there a chance I could've gotten some of his semen in my vagina? My period is due within the next week or so and I really can't be pregnant at my age or even the chance being in the air. When he fingered me the semen was most likely dry wherever it was but I'm still scared.

Hello j0371,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

Sperm can live outside the body for about 20 minutes. Once the semen has dried, sperm is dead.

Without penetration of his penis into your vagina and ejaculation of semen inside of you. there was no risk for pregnancy. The risk is high if this had happened five days before you were due to ovulate or on the day of ovulation.

Stress can cause a delay. If your period is late by at least seven days, test in the morning for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello my period calendar doesn't say I ovulate on those days and that's on the day this happened (4th of July) the chances were low and my boyfriend says he didn't get any in me and such I'm super scared still I'm wondering why I would need a pregnancy test? I'm supposed to start my period tomorrow according to my app/calendar
