Can you get prenant while on your period?

im on birth control last month i was on my 5th pack of the pills i had sex with my bf on the last day of my period he didnt used a condom i got scared and took emergency pill. I actually took 2 ec last month the first one was in the first week of the pack but i never missed a pill and the second time was on the 28th of december. and now im in my 6th pack of pills last week on tuesday i started to have brown discharge which was in the middle of the second week i usually get my period on the third week but i havent got anything. Now im in placebo pills and sometimes like yesterday i wiped my self and notice a little brown discharge i havent had it anymore. I been having off and on cramps ever since i took the second ec pill. So im on placbo pills does that mean i wont get a period beacsue i usually get it in my third week. should i be worried i be worried? or will i get it next month? please help im worried i never had brown discharge instead of my period.

First of all you need to know that taking EC on top of birth control pills is not good for your health.  Both contain hormones that prevent pregnancy.  If you are already on birth control pills and taking them as directed, you should not take emergency contraceptives as well.

A normal side effect of EC is an irregular period, this is why you are experiencing these symptoms not because you are pregnant.

You do not need to see a doctor.  Your cycle will return to normal as long as you stop taking the EC and keep taking your birth control pills as instructed.  The pills will be effective even if you have intercourse during your period.
