Hi Anon,

Thanks for your question and welcome to EmpowHer! Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and Sexually Transmitted Diseases are spread by close contact with the skin or bodily fluid of another person. You are not at risk of contracting or spreading an STI or STD while dry humping, or simulating sex with your clothes on.

Intercourse involves penetration. If you have dry sex that involves intercourse, or dry intercourse, you are at an increased risk of contracting or spreading an STI or STD. Dry sex and dry intercourse can increase friction during sex and result in tearing of the vaginal tissue and torn condoms.

Did that answer your question? Please let us know if you need any more information.

Warm Wishes,

Shanon
