Ok my hubby and I have being fighting lately so we decide to seek help from a marriage counselor and day one was good he sent us home with an exercise that we should try and talk and remind each other why we fell Inlove with one another I have my list going very long list but no of us wants to break the silence and sit down and have a conversation because we haven't talked in a while just the normal talk because we have two kids..my question is how do I even start the conversation I don't wanna be ignored or turned down....when and how should I do it?

Isina,

Your marriage is something you should fight for! Being able to talk about these things is intimidating...for everyone. But, if you calmly talk about these topics and share how you feel, truthfully, he will respond. Both of you need to fight for your marriage and put each other first! I write down what I want to say before hand, so I don't get off topic or forget something. It really helps me because then you're not pressured to say something you don't mean or didn't want to say.

Hoping everything is well, and hoping the talk will improve your marriage.
