i know this reply is really late so i want to know if its working again?basically: i started when i was 11 too. at first it was uncomfortable snd it didnt go fully up but like for you it felt good. i kept trying and i eventually got it up again so dont worry if it doesnt. you are new at it. to help it be easier if you first play with yourself; rub, stroke and pull your clit. it'll help you become wet and your finger should go up. have funn!

Dear Pink,

Thank you for your post.

When you are a virgin, it is very common to feel a little discomfort when attempting to put a finger in your vagina. As a matter of fact, it is very normal to have a hard time inserting the whole finger at all. What you may be coming across is your Hymen-- the thin fold that completely or partially covers the vagina which may or may not be present in a virgin-- in your case, it is likely to be intact. It could also be that you're touching your vaginal wall. I don't think what you're feeling is your cervix since it is much harder to find and you would have to go purposefully deep to get to it.

If you are experimenting, don't be afraid to feel anything-- you're not hurting yourself. It's a matter of still being young and a virgin and there is nothing wrong with you. Slowly start off with one finger until you are comfortable with that, then if you're feeling up to it add a second. The more you experiment with yourself, the less uncomfortable and tight it will feel as you insert your finger(s).

Best Wishes!
