Hi. I would just like help as I would like to know what is happening. I've had sex on the 28th of January but my boyfriend pulled out and came on top of me and not inside, I took an emergency contraceptive 48 hours later. My next period came on the 9th of February (23 days after the end of my period in January) and was supposed to come on the 14th of March. 19th of march (yesterday) I took a home pregnancy test which resulted negative today is the 20th of march (6 days late). Am I pregnant or not? And what is my delayed period caused by?

I doubt that you are pregnant unless you had unprotected sex since your last period in February.
You had a period after taking an emergency contraceptive, so you know that the pill worked.
An emergency contraceptive can cause changes in the menstrual cycle, but that is usually for the following menstrual cycle. Every woman is different, and it is possible that you are more sensitive. Consider speaking with your gynecologist, who knows you and is more knowledgeable than I am.
