I was treated for Chlamydia back in February and continued to have discharge. My doctor treated me for BV and yeast infection. The discharge was less but still not like it used to be before the Chlamydia. I was tested again for all STDs a couple weeks ago and everything came back negative. So I don't have any STDs but my discharge is still different than before all this. Is this normal? Is my discharge just going to be different now? There is no bad odor. There is no itching or irritation. Just heavier discharge that is slightly yellow sometimes.

Hi Anon,

Thanks for posting. Here's a great tool to go by when you're worried about your discharge: http://goaskalice.columbia.edu/what-normal-vaginal-discharge

If it is midly yellow with no foul odor, then I wouldn't worry about it too much-- especially because you have been to your OB/GYN for a follow-up. Sometimes an inflammation in your cervix can cause an increase in discharge but this is also something that your OB/GYN would point out to you during a routine pap smear.

Good luck,

Rosa
