Is is common to miss a period while on the pill?

hi,

i'm taking a birth control pill that gives me my monthly period. This month I'm on day 3 of the sugar pill and still haven't gotten it. My boyfriend and i have no had sex but we have done other things. He has ejaculated on my chest and in his pants but no genital contact has been made.

Should I be worried?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  If you didn't have intercourse, it's unlikely you will be pregnant.  Not every cycle will be the same.  You should wait a few days and take a home pregnancy test, if you are concerned.
