I am freaking out about a bad decision I made the other night. Me and this guy were fooling around and he put his penis in me for a couple of minutes, if that. There was absolutly no ejaculation at all. I made him stop and he put a condom on and we did this again for a couple more minutes until I just got too scared and we quit altogether. Again, there was no ejaculation either time. He didn't ejaculate at all that night. I am really worried that this might cause pregnancy as it was during my fertile days. I took emergency contraception the next morning about 10 hours after this happened. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!!!!

Hi Julie,
September 20, 2010 - 1:09pmThe best thing you can do for yourself, is relax. You've done all you can for now. The Plan B is pretty effective--according to their website, "Plan B® One-Step works better the sooner you use it. If it is taken as directed within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure, it can significantly decrease the chance that you will become pregnant. About 7 out of every 8 women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant. Plan B® One-Step works even better if taken within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure."
Keep in mind that Plan B is not meant to be regular birth control, so if you plan to be sexually active in the future, you should seek out other birth control.

Thanks for your reply. I know it was a very bad decision. I am hoping the emergency contraception works!!! Its all so confusing because tons people say there is sperm in pre-ejaculate and others say there isn't unless a previous ejaculation occurred without urinating. Either way, I am just very scared right now.

Hi Julie jo,
September 20, 2010 - 11:52amThank you for your question, and for finding EmpowHER. I understand how these things happen. At least you've learned your lesson, and next time will be sure and be prepared with the condoms, etc. It all can be very exciting, but as you said, it can be a bad decision. You don't want to end up with unwanted pregnancy.
It is risky to have unprotected sex (no condom, etc.) even if there is no ejaculation, some pre-ejaculate may have been present, and that also contains sperm. Anytime the penis comes into contact with your vagina, there's a risk, and a chance. You'll be ready next time.
Good luck and let us know if you have more questions.
