Confidentiality of posts

Since you brought it up I have a question to ask about it. I have personal medical matters which are all under confidentiality and for example a certain doctor asks me something personal and I can't mention it to him/her because of it being confidential. I would just explain a little something of it but nothing else. If they want more information and if they keep asking for it and I can't really give it to them don't you think I have the rights not to say anything more even though I know I won't? Do you think it's right if they keep asking for it?

The other thing I'm wondering is that through this personal confidential matter if God forbid in case I'm going to have surgery and they usually say you would need someone to take you home and either you don't have anyone to take you home or you don't want to mention to no one in a situation like this do you think they would let you go home on your own? Don't I have rights? I am over 21 and I can handle it on my own what do you think of such thing? Please let me know soon.

Thank You,
Melissa
