I think i am going to wait another week and then take another test. I dont want to take it too early ya know. Does that sound like a good idea?

I'm wondering if you've taken another home pregnancy test? Whatever the results, it would be a good idea to call your OB/GYN. Even if the test still reads "no", they may want you to come in for an appointment to see why your period is so late. If you are pregnant, and it sounds like you would be OK with this, please let us know and we can provide lots of information and support for you!

Well, it's certainly possible!! I think I'd try a home pregnancy test as soon as you can, because if you are pregnant, you'll want to schedule a doctor's appointment soon. Let us know what happens!

I feel more tired than usual. I have somewhat of sore breats. Mainly the nipples. I use the bathroom more than i have before. I am also dizzy and sometimes feel like im going to throw up. I wasnt sure if it was all in my head. I also have cramps sometimes and i have like a fluttery feeling in my lower abdomen.

A week and a half ago, you would have just been around day 30 or 31, correct? In a person with an irregular cycle, that might have been too early to tell if you were pregnant or not.

Most pregnancy tests don't require morning urine, but the concentration of HCG would be higher after you've been asleep for several hours. And yes, it's possible to become pregnant even if your partner pulled out; all that has to happen is for a tiny bit of sperm to be deposited outside the vagina. (A doctor's web site tells me that there can be 100 million sperm in 1/4 teaspoon of semen, and that 25% of couples using withdrawal as their only birth control will get pregnant in the course of a year.) Also, the pre-ejaculate fluid released by your partner before he ejaculates does contain some sperm.

Early symptoms of pregnancy, besides being late for your period, are slightly tender or swollen breasts, some extra fatigue, and having to urinate more often than usual. A little later on you might experience nausea, dizziness, food cravings, heartburn or sensitivity to smells. Are any of these the things you're experiencing?

I know you said your period is irregular. Let's start, however, with assuming it's a 28-day cycle.

If your last period began on Feb. 14, 28 days would have been on Friday, March 13. Today is actually 41 days past your last period. That's a long time even for someone with irregular cycles.

Your fertile time -- when you were ovulating -- was probably somewhere around/between Feb. 23-28. Do you remember if you had unprotected sex during that time?

Have you taken a home pregnancy test yet? Most of them are very accurate once you are a few days late. They test for the HCG hormone, which is present in your body only when you are pregnant.

Because it's been 41 days since your last period, I would say indications are good that you are pregnant. If so, are you ok with that? Can we help you with anything?
