Could I be pregnant?

My last period was June 16 to June21. It was not a normal period, it was light the whole time. For about 3 weeks now I have been feeling flutters in my lower abdomen, and my breast have been tender. Last week I had a pain in my left breast and it felt like one of my milk ducts was enlarged, so I massaged it and the pain subsided , but still tender. My breast are tender, heightened sense of smell, nausea in the morning and night, I haven't had much of an appetite. These are the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my first child. I have taken several HPT's and all of them say negative. Last pregnancy did not register on a home pregnancy test until I was 4 months prego? Could there be another reason for these symptoms?

Hi marriedandhappy,
All the symptoms you explained certainly sound like pregnancy symptoms and if you had issues with pregnancy tests with your first child, I would certainly make an appointment with your doctor to have blood drawn.

Other reasons for your symptoms would be possibly your period as pregnancy symptoms and pre-menstrual symptoms often mimic each other. I would still follow up with your physician for the blood test. I hope that help.

Thanks for the reply! I have now started to pick up an appetite the last couple of days, and if I don't eat I get really bad I call them hunger pains, and when I finally do eat that is when I feel the flutters. I have ruled out that it is not gas. I have never felt the flutters when it was just a menstrual cycle. I was wondering if it was too early to try and take a test since I am not considered late yet?
