I got my period a day early and it was light at first and then got heavy for about 2 days and then light for the last 2 days. Plus it only lasted 5 days. It usually is 7 days. It has been a few days over a year since my daughter being born and I have been nauseous and extreme fatigue, extreme moodiness. Sometimes sore breasts. I took a test and it had a very very very light positive. And I took another and it said negative but the negative sign was very light where I couldn't even hardly read it. Thank you.

I had miscarriage before my daughter actually 2 years ago before my daughter. I have had unprotected sex a few times even during the ovulation and fertility time. I took the tests right. I held it under for the few seconds and everything. If things don't get better in a week or two I will take another. Thank you.

Hi AlysMommy,
When are you taking your pregnancy tests? Is it with your first morning pee and are you letting the stick catch your urine mid-stream for about 5 seconds? Really following instructions on the test can assure more accurate results. A 5 day period is a period and if it weren't for your faint positive I would say you aren't pregnant. When did you have unprotected sex? If it was less than two weeks ago, please wait another week before testing again.
I don't want to scare you, but another possibility is that you may have had a missed miscarriage. What this means is that had you not tested for pregnancy and had that faint positive along with bleeding-- you could have passed this on as just an irregular period. If you continue to have pregnancy symptoms along with ambiguous test results-- please go see your doctor for a more detailed blood test.
All the best,
Rosa
