could i be pregnant?

my breast have been a bit tender and itchy for about a week. my period was due the 10, im on birth control but havent been taking them correctly. i feel a bit dizzy and haven't had an appetite for days. lately i feel very tired and after class i need to take a nap. last month my period was long, it was light and lasted about 3 wks it started around the 10th and ended around the 26th. should i be taking a hpt soon?

Hi,
I am concerned about your last period which lasted about 3 weeks and the fact that you do not take your birth control pills correctly. Birth control pills contain hormones. A complex interaction of these hormones ,which are found naturally in the body, control the menstrual cycle. An imbalance in these hormones might be causing changes in your period. You could wait about a week if you don't get your period this month and take a home pregnancy test. Depending on the result, you should make an appointment with your gynecologist.

thanks. i took a test today but might be to soon. my period started changing after my miscarriage in may of 2010
