i am 21 years old and i am a virgin
usually i get my period between the 19th and the 21st of each month
this month on the 13th, my bf and i made out and he entered half his penis only for about a maximum of 10minutes
he did not cum inside me at all
but i know that pre-cum may contain sperms
so might i be pregnant because i did not get my period until now
i told my bf he said it can not be possible because i couldn't be possibly ovulating on the 13th!!!

i must mention that there has been some changes in my life style recently
i graduated and searching for a job so i spend my days sitting at home
i sleep late
i wake up late
and i worry toooo much about being pregnant
im thinking of it all the time !!
please help
reply ASAP
thank you

Hi MsAlwaysWorried,

Glad to hear that! Just remember, to be safe against pregnancy and STD's is best to use protection.

Hi MsAlwaysWorried,

Welcome back and glad to hear that! I won't think that at all, it's understandable you are concerned about being pregnant. If you are having a regular flow by now. Chances are you got your period. If you are spotting, meaning for just a day. Then you might want to see your doctor.

Best of luck,
Daisy

Hey Daisy,
When I read your comment in the morning, though I was in a hurry but I felt so much relieved.
Thank you so much. My boyfriend had been telling me this during the whole week!
Well, I have good news, I guess I got my period an hour ago. It is so light though. So, despite my happiness I wondered that could this be the spotting I read about ? Because I read that sometimes when the baby is getting implanted in the uterus it makes the same effect.
Do you think I must still take the home pregnancy test ? or just let it go and its sure my period ?

Thanks again.
P.s. Please don't think im crazy but I really don't want to have my first child in this way and certainly not now!

Hi MsAlwaysWorried,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question. Absolutely, Pre-cum can contain sperm and can get you pregnant. But you also mentioned all the changes that are occurring in your life. Stress can have a big influence on your cycle being delayed. It decreases the amount of a hormone (GnRH), which causes us to not ovulate or menstruate. You might want to wait a few days and if your period doesn't come, try a home pregnancy test or see your doctor.

Best of luck,
Daisy
