Q:

Could I be pregnant?

I'm on birth control, and have been for almost a year now. On March 2 - 4, I forgot to take my birth control pills. I had unprotected sex March 3 early in the morning, twice that night, and again on the morning of March 4. Each time, he came inside me. What is the likelihood of pregnancy?

me and my gf had protected sex , and i came outside with condom still on , can she be pregnant? the condom was not torn , and second thing , next day i tried penetrating her with my trackpant and underwear on and she has no clothes on , i still didnt cum , so how much are the chances of pregnancy if there was no direct contact and plus whenever i came , it was outside?

Hi Anon,

You should taka a home pregnancy test.  To know if you are indeed pregnant.  If it's negative then you might want to see your doctor.  Birth control pills can also be the cause of the changes in your cycle.

Also, today I started spotting, which is odd - I only had my period about a week and a half ago.. Could this be a sign of pregnancy? Or is this more likely a sign from not using the birth control? About a month ago, I was switched to a new birth control because my old one was causing me to bleed anytime I missed a pill. However, this is the fourth day without a pill and there is no set flow, just tiny spotting. Any help at all would be wonderful.

Hi Anon,

If you think there is a chance of you being pregnant, then I think you should wait until you see your doctor and know for sure if you are pregnant.

Thank you. I was wondering, is it a good idea to continue taking my birth control once again, or should I wait until I take a pregnancy test?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Anytime you have unprotected sex or you forget to take your Birth control your chances of pregnancy are higher.  You might want to wait till your period is due and take a home pregnancy test.
