ask: Could I be pregnant?

I already left this in a comment on a the page about whether or not it's possible to get pregnant through clothes and all that other stuff, but I would like an answer, so I'm going to repost it here. Please respond! I'm really naive about stuff to do with sex and I'm 22 years old...my boyfriend and I are holding off on any sexual intercourse (and outercourse for the most part, except kissing right now, although with how paranoid I get, even that's probably going to have to stop). The situation I explain below was a completely new experience for us, and one that won't happen again. But it happened about a month ago...I had my period like normal, but in my mind it didn't seem normal...I don't remember having any cramps or anything. I know that doesn't technically mean anything, but I'd just like to know if I could be pregnant...okay, here's the original post (and I also added in a few details I'd left out before)...

I know this is going to sound very lame, but it's been driving me crazy. I've only ever kissed my boyfriend (although I have my reservations about that even before marriage)...but one day I was feeling particularly bold...I don't know why, and I regret doing what I did...but we'd been kissing and were then just lying next to each other and I asked if he wanted to feel how wet I was, so I took his hand and had him feel the inside of my underwear with his finger without it touching anything else. Now, could I possibly be pregnant if for some reason he touched himself and then perhaps from his hand, precum got on the inside of my underwear where my own vaginal fluid was? I know it probably sounds dumb, but I just need to know.

Thanks for the response Maryann. I know it probably sounded like a dumb question, but like I said, I'm really naive about a lot of this stuff and I believe that my hypochondriac mind convinced myself that I might be pregnant to the point of actually having pregnancy symptoms. It's nice to know that I was just being crazy.

Hello Sarah,

You could not be pregnant because conception would not have happened by your boyfriend touching the inside of your underwear, and you had a period afterwards. You are not even certain that he had semen on his finger.

Information presented in the following slide show: Am I Pregnant?: Myths and Facts About Sex may be helpful to you.
