My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he ejaculated in me…. there’s 3 days till my cycle is suppose to come… I’m not on birth control… so I’m just wondering what’s the chance.. if there’s one to becoming pregnant… also Tuesday I had this really like pink blood maybe but only when I went to the restroom.. this morning there was nothing then around 11 o'clock it was light pink then bright red then back to light pink.. in between it would stop but nothing ever on my panty liner only when I went to the bathroom. I've also been having like mild cramps I've never had cramps before.

Hello Anonymous,

This may be the start of your period. Wait a day or two. You may begin to have a normal menstrual flow.

Hello pal88,

If you have had unprotected sexual intercourse since your last period, there is a chance that you could be pregnant.
I suggest you take a home pregnancy test.

Hello LilyJ,

There is a risk of conception anytime you have unprotected sexual intercourse. Your risk of becoming pregnant increases if you have unprotected sex five days before or on the day of ovulation.

If this bleeding increases and persists to resemble a period, then you are not pregnant.

I tested today 9 days before I'm suppose to come on it was negative is it too early am I reading to much into this?

Hello LilyJ,

You should take a home pregnancy test once your period is late by at least one week. So, if I understand you correctly, you had vaginal flow for only one day during your expected period?

Right! it was on and off that day... that was the only way I could wear a tampon and it not come out dry.

Hello LilyJ,

I think you need to have a blood pregnancy test done.

It has been over three weeks since you had that episode of unprotected sex. You have not had a normal period, but a day of on and off vaginal bleeding.

LilyJ, either call your physician or visit a women's health clinic and have a blood test done.

Regards,

Maryann
