My tubes were tied 3 years ago and my period has been regular since then. My last period was Dec. 28,2014 and last 3 days. It is now Jan.30,2015 and I have not seen my period. My stomach ahs been cramping and when I use the bathroom and wipe there is a small amount of blood on the tissue, but nothing more. Should I get a HPT to make sure?

Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

When you get a tubal ligation the tubes are damaged.  When they heal, a blockage is created.  Sometimes however the tubes don't close completely allowing sperm to travel to the uterus.  With that being said, it is possible to get pregnant after getting a tubal ligation.

The best way to know for sure if you are pregnant or not is not speculation, but testing.  So my answer to you is that if you want to have a definite answer, then yes, you should be tested.
