My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex, more than once a few weekends ag.
3 days after I have gotten my period, it was a heavy flow and lasted 5 day. Now 9 days later I got my period again. A medium flow and still going on been day 2-3 . And I'm not on birth control. Not on any medication, and have only slept with my boyfriend in the past 2 years. Could there be a good chance I am pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,

Quite the contrary. You could not be pregnant because you got your period that lasted for five days with a heavy flow. And now, you are bleeding again with a medium flow.

Anonymous, up until now, have your menstrual cycles been regular? At what age did you start having a period? How old are you now?

Maryann

They have always been regular. I'm 20 and never had an issue with my period before. I got my period when I was 11

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for that information. It rules out a history of irregular menstrual cycles and recently starting to menstruate as causes of the bleeding.

If you were thinking the medium flow could be implantation bleeding, implantation bleeding is spotting, pink or brown in color and usually occurs about six to 12 days following conception.

I think you should talk with your physician about this.

Regards,
Maryann
