I need some Advice. Last month my period was late by 5 days and came with a vengeance. This month it was 2 days early. My period is never ever early. It always comes on time or is late but never early. I have a 7 day cycle with heavy heavy bleeding. So it was 2 days early with very light spotting of brown/pink and a tiny bit of red. It was very minimal that it only showed when I wiped. It last 4/5 days and completely stops. Along with the spotting was a very very sore back, headaches and mood swings. No breast tenderness. I've never had this happen to me before. I tried a cheap hpt and it came back Negative. Is there a chance I can still be pregnant?

Hello,

Your chances of being pregnant are entirely due to whether or not you have had unprotected sex between now and your last period.  If you did, then this irregular period could be a sign of pregnancy and it is too soon to show on a pregnancy test.

The only thing to do at this point is to wait until your next period.  If you miss it or it is irregular again, take another pregnancy test.  If your period comes as usual, then you know that your last irregular period was most likely due to hormonal balances and not pregnancy.
