Q:

Could I be pregnant?

I have been on the contraceptive pill Loestrin 20 for over a year now and some months I don't take a period at all. I spoke to my GP and she said this can happen and not to worry. I finished the last pill of the pack on Tuesday night and again I have no period - I took a test to be safe and it was negative. However last night my boyfriend and I had drunken unprotected sex. What are my chances of becoming pregnant after this? How long do I need to wait before taking another test to get accurate results? And if it turns out I am what are my options?

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
If you were taking the sugar pills in-between active pills, this means you were still protected, and you will not get pregnant. Either way, you were not ovulating during this time, so pregnancy is not possible. Also, if you are not having a period, this makes getting pregnant very difficult.
So, there is possibility of pregnancy in this scenario.
