I had sex one time which was at the beginning of my 2ND week at the end of my 3RD week i forgot to take two of my birth control pills, when i remembered to take them it had already been two days. i took all three pills the day i realized. Now i'm on my fourth week - my period pills and i'm four days into them i have not yet started my period nor do i feel like i'm going to I took a pregnancy test yesterday said negative but i think it might be to soon to tell? Is there a chance i'm pregnant or just messed up everything not taking those pills?

Hi Meghan

It seems unlikely that you would be pregnant since there were nearly 2 weeks between having sex and missing pills.

Usually home pregnancy tests suggest you wait until a week after a missed period to test. You may just be a little off in your cycle between the pills and the worry. I'd give it another 2 weeks and test again. It is so common to have variations in your cycle from time to time.

Good luck and thank you for writing.
