Most women do not have pregnancy signs or symptoms that are indistinguishable from their premenstrual signs or symptoms. Early pregnancy symptoms mimic PMS so closely that you will not know if you are pregnant until you miss a period, in which case you can take a home pregnancy test. Please use my experience, as well as hundreds of other women's experience: you will drive yourself crazy thinking you are pregnant each month because you felt a "twinge" or ache or your breasts, back, stomach, etc hurt. Women do not conceive instantly after unprotected sex...it is a process that takes 10-14 days. I can explain this specific question in more detail, if that is what you are wondering about?

Do you have an OB/GYN that you are talking with, and who knows you are wanting to conceive? Are you taking prenatal vitamins?

Both questions would help if you could provide information on them please ... how will i know if i was/are pregnant and the conception process please.

Many, many women (including myself) have poured through the books and websites detailing early pregnancy symptoms, and once you read enough of these symptoms, you surely begin to emotionally, mentally and physically feel these symptoms...even when everything else (such as a period) is telling you otherwise.

Are you and your partner actively trying to conceive, or are you actively not using birth control? (These are two totally different mindsets, again--many of us have been there!--and would help us talk with you more about where you are at in your life).

I just feel differen in myself and wanted a little bit of advice on the whole pregnancy thing. It would'nt be a bad thing if i became pregnant becasue i'm in a really stable relationship with my partner.

As I said, you would not be pregnant, since you had a period (the absence of bleeding or a period would indicate a possible pregnancy).

Since you are having regular periods, this would indicate you are not pregnant at this time.

yes i've been having unprotected sex for the past 2/3 months and i just feel different in myself, my brests were really sore upto about 2 weeks before my period and i never get sore breasts. I'm 31 also, do you think i should maybe take a test or would it be a wase of time?

It is actually the absence of a period that could indicate a pregnancy.

Women can have menstrual bleeding that is different colors: bright red, brown, pink...or some combination. Menstrual bleeding can last up to 7-10 days, and include some brown spotting.

How old are you? Is this the first time you have ever experienced brown spotting associated with your period? It is quite common and nothing to worry about.
