for the month of oct, and nov. i received my period around the 5th.of each month i had a light period with no blood clots in it,this concerns me most.it is dec.27th and i have not received my period.years ago i thought i was pregnant i took 4 hpt and all came back negative, i went to the doctor and got a positive result from a blood test a week later i had a miscarriage.just like before i was late with no signs of pregnancy because of my past situation should i go to the doctor and get another blood test or could i just be this late. at the time me and my fiance was not using any protection, and i am not on any type of birth-control. i just want to know what i should do.
thanks ebony

well i'd definitely do a hpt just to see if it can detect a pregnancy by itself, but then independently of its results i'd also go to the doctor considering your previous history. what i was said when i miscarried is that it happens to about 70% of women and they don't even notice it.. so yeps, give it a check up.. the best luck to you!

ebony - It would be a good idea to take a home pregnancy test first and, if the results are negative, follow up with a blood test due to your past history. Hope that helps! Pat
