Could I become pregnant? Please tell me what you think.

I forgot to take my birth control on Monday and Tuesday. I remembered on Wednesday afternoon and took three pills - one for Monday, one for Tuesday, and one for Wednesday. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend after I took the three pills. This is also my ovulation week. Tell me your thoughts. Could I become pregnant? Should I take Plan B? Do you think my birth control will protect me since I only missed two days?

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
First of all, you will not ovulated from missing a couple pills. You need to be off the pill for 2 weeks or more in order to ovulate. So, there is no chance of pregnant since you were not ovulating.
Secondly, when you miss a pill, do not double or triple up on pills. It dramatically effects your hormonal balance and you will experience symptoms. In the future simply start where you left off taking one at a time.
Lastly, never take emergency contraception while taking regular birth control pills. It will dramatically disrupt your cycle.
In conclusion you do not need to take any further action. Simply continue taking your pills.
