Me & my partner had sex. He pulled out. We went to sleep. He didn't shower just urinated. In the morning we had sex again. Could I have gotten pregnant?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

There is always a risk for pregnancy when you have unprotected sexual intercourse. The withdrawal method or pulling out before ejaculation is not a very reliable birth control method.

When your partner urinated, any sperm left in his urethra from sex the previous night was flushed away.

However, there would be a risk for pregnancy with sex the next morning if no protection was used, he ejaculated inside you, and you were ovulating.

Ovulation occurs about 14 days following the last day of your last period. You are fertile about five days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation.

Regards,
Maryann
