Q:

Could I possibly be pregnant?

I usually take my birth control pills every morning. On April 15th is the day that I missed my birth control pill and I had unprotected sex that very same night. The moment I remembered that I forgot to take it I immediately took the pill for that day. I went to sleep and woke up on the 26th and took the following birth control pill for that specific day.
Could I be pregnant? Should i have waited to take the pill at the same time on the 26th?

Hi Daijai89,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

You did the right thing by taking the missed pill the minute you remembered.

From the information you provided, I cant determine if you had only gone a couple of hours or if it had been more than a day. If it was only a couple of hours you should be fine. If you missed a full day and had unprotected sex, then your risk of pregnancy increases.

Be well,

Thank you so much for replying Gillete. But too be a little more specific I usually take my pill every single morning, and then that night I probably had sex about 11 pm or 12 am and then i got home and took it about 1 am definitely. And then I proceeded to take my next pill for the next day probably like 11 am or 12 pm. But I thank you so much for replying.
