I had unprotected sex on 18th June , which was on the day 2 of my period and I took morning after pill on the next day. On 3rd July , I had another unprotected sex with my bf and I took morning after pill again . On 9th July , I had light bleeding. It was bright red but it wasn't heavy like my normal period and it lasted for 3 days. I took 6 pregnancy tests till 29th July and got them all negatives. And I do not suffer from any pregnancy symptoms till now. When do I expect my next period ?Am I still pregnant ? Please help.

Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
First of all emergency contraception is not meant to be taken as a consistent form of birth control. It is only meant for emergencies, hence the name.
The normal side effect of taking the pill is bleeding soon after. This is not your period. Your cycle will be disrupted. I cannot tell you when you will get your next period, how it will be, or even if your next period will come at all. All I can say is that taking EC two times in the course of a few days will significantly off balance your hormones.
You are not pregnant, just experiencing hormonal imbalances.

Hey , thank you for your reply . I know EC is not meant for regular birth control but accidents happened coincidentally within that 2 weeks. Really feeling bad for my body since I took EP twice in a cycle. I'm hoping to get my period soon , maybe by 18th July.
