Hi. I was just wondering if i should take a pregnancy test. I have been cramping for about three days now. I don't start my period for another week. My breasts are pretty sore had they have been sore for about two weeks now. I don't normally have cramps and if i do i only get them the night before i start my period. I could really use some help please.

Hi anon12345123,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It all depends if you had unprotected sex during your fertile days.  A woman usually ovulates day 11-21 of a cycle, counting from the first day of your period.  If your period is not due until another week, you might want to wait until then to take a pregnancy test.  Cramping can also be part of PMS.

Thanks. I probably will take one if my period is late.
