Guide

Have you spoken to your gastroenterologist about your problems with digesting food? Usually, someone who has had her gallbladder removed can have a problem with diarrhea. Individuals with diverticulitis can experience lower abdominal cramping and bloating.

In both cases, dietary changes help relieve these symptoms. My concern is that your problem with digestion may be related to something other than diverticulitis and post-gallbladder removal.

I suggest you give your gastroenterologist a call and make an appointment to be evaluated. At least you will have peace of mind and hopefully, an answer.
