I am 27 and I was diagnosed with pcos (hormonal imbalance) when I was 16 (irregular periods) so with out periods it wld be hard for me to conceive. I finally got prego in 2007. but I havnt gotten prego since then. my last period was April 24th, I have had unprotected sex bout 5 times since then and 2 times my boyfriend did not pull out. it is now may 16th and ive been spotting for 2days, do you think that may be implantation bleeding????? my period is not due for another 8-10 days. I'm also cramping on my left side of my pelvic... I would be excited if I was but I don't want to get too happy just yet!!

Hi,
I can relate to your reservations about getting too excited when you want something so badly. I can understand your uncertainty if indeed you are pregnant because of your history of a hormonal imbalance and irregular menstrual cycles. I suggest that you wait the 8 to 10 days that you are expecting to get your period. If you don't have a period by the 10th day, wait 7 days and take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate results, it is advised to test for pregnancy when you are one week late for your period. Keep us posted and hoping your wishes come true.
