I have experienced this problem for the last 5 years. I have asked my family physician who referred me to my OBGYN who referred me to my Dermatologist. No luck there either. I am 60 years old & have completed menopause.

I suffered with sweaty armpits and an acute hyperhidrosis problem for over 25 years. The cure I eventually found was in a home remedy formula that is easy to put together. If you want to have a look down that path you can check out The Sweaty armpits Blog. All the best and I hope this helps!

Hi Anon-

I don't have a remedy for your sweating, but I do use a great product that reduces shine on one's face. Sweating obviously causes excess shine and by placing a small amount of the Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel on you forehead, it will significantly reduce the shine.

I never recommend products, but I have been using this for years to decrease my shiny T-zone, particularly in the summer, and it is great. I purchased it at Sephora.

Hope this is helpful and good luck!

Hi, Anon, and thank you so much for your question. I'd like to see if we could be of some help to you.

Have you had your thyroid and your hormone levels checked?

And you only sweat profusely above the neck, not in the armpits or elsewhere?

What has been ruled out as a possible cause?

Please get back to me and let's see if we can get you some info.
