If anyone suffers from this, PLEASE contact me!! I've been having bladder and urinary pain for months. My urologist doesn't think I have Interstitial Cystitis, but I do have Trigonitis. I can't find any information on this. PLEASE HELP!!

The real problem seems to be that the cause hasn't yet been fully determined, so there isn't a "solid" treatment available, yet.

i was diagnosed with trigonitis last week...and now I am mastering it,as a patient!

Read my story:
I had an inflammation of bladder when I was 26, and heavy; since then I suffer from that pain while urinating ocasionaly..but when checking my urine it was sterile;that was the moment when I understood that I need to se the urologist. Now Im 42... i was drinking water and tea more than ten years.. and I did not complain to anyone.Pipemidic acid (antibiotic)became my best friend,always with me,like chewing gums;

A year ago I started a relationship,very passionate. I had sex every day,and couple of times a day...

Then,my problems got very bad,after six months of behaving like that,and I went to cystoscopy .
Urologist told me that anti baby pills are the only solution,and my trigonitis is clear school example.He sent me to see gynecologist at once,for the pills,and sugested to go back to cystoscopy after a month, to see if it got better;
And told me that it is very rare case(?) and treatment is slow and includes antibiotics...
Urologist also told me that my bladder tissue will get better from the hormones,and if I dont get better Ill will have to go and lay in the hospital for research.
After that I sat and I was thinking to myself:
I had that bad inflammation of the bladder
I was giving a birth for 12 hours(bladder trauma)
I had my bladder traumatised by sexual intercourses for months
OH I remember my father suffered from bladder somehow,too
I also treated myself for chlamydia,trihomonas,bacterial infection,when needed
I was drinking very little water, never thirsty,only this made me start paying attention to it;
And all that brought me to this

Since I am afraid so much of taking xtra hormones,and I smoke,too,I digged out some private practice,they deal with health in a different manner.
I talked to them,and here what I agreed to:
Acudiagnostics(showed me how much my entire urogenital system suffers)
detox treatment
informotherapy-nosode
generator therapy
some herbal tampons
zapper=an apparatus that clears me from patogenes with low freaquency current

And all that to help my immune system to go strong
And as a consecuence,my bladder tissue regenerated...
I just started,and I believe. Or I will feel like an invalid for the rest of my life.
So,drink water,or very very mild tea,no sugar
take care while having sex,avoid rough sex,specific positions that tangle the bladder
exellent hygiene throughout the day
and antibaby pills CAN make it better but it wont cure it..

Detox treatment is the first,
than pay attention to what blood type you are and start avoiding food that is not recommended,
avoid acidic food,tropical fruit,etc
gather as much info as you can...
My doctor is from russia,and I believe that in most of the cities you can find someone who deals with health issues in homeopatic way,or,ask
around who practices with GENERATOR and acudiagnostic, a word is QUANTUM medicine...
I am out of the mysery,just 5 days after I started detox and nosodes...
And now I will start searching for info on IC,just to make sure I understand the difference between trigonitis and IC...and where does it lead,beacuse the more I speak about it I see more women struck by this...
And sorry for my english..

The more i read on trigonitis leads me to thinking that it is hormonal based. Dose anyone out there agree with this? I would be interested to know. Ive been suffering with it for 7 months now. Cysoscopy has been done and have had a slight improvement, but it is still uncomfortable most days. Dose anyone know how long it takes to get over a cysoscopy and when you should see results if its worked properly? Might just have to sew mine up and forget about it. Ha!! If only it were that simple hey.

I also have Trigonitis! I've had so many different treatments that have not worked, this has gone on for almost 2.5 years and it's irritating to say the least. My only resolve is going to a Holistic doctor for treatment. I will advise as soon as I find one that I like and report any findings or relieve! I've gained weight and my back hurts continously, I can't even sneeze without bracing myself. Very uncomfortable!

Hi, I have Trigonitis too. It has been severe for the last 8 months, but previously had had a lot of cystitis from the age of 17. I am 40 now!!! I can totally relate to all of you - I have felt helpless, not wanting to go out anywhere (because of the symptoms), which then led to me feeling depressed. When it strikes, I can be three weeks of feeling like I constantly need the toilet. Its embarrassing, and trying to lead a normal life while looking after a family and working is not fun!!! I have been seeing a Urologist and only last week I had a cystoscopy and urethrotomy. My surgeon said that it was extremely swollen and he had done the best that he could. I hope to god that this will help. Let me know if anyone else has had this done and how you are feeling now. He has also given me some macrodantin which I am supposed to take before having intercourse - has this helped anyone else?

I also suffer with trigonitis. I had symptoms that first started Oct 08 and ended up in hospitial the following Feb 09 as i couldnt stand the pain and discomfort and was sick of having antibiotics shoved at me every time i complained aboutmy bladder ergency and pain. Then when i did go into hospital my OBGY put me on an IV Drip of once again!!!! Antibiotics as he couldnt work out my problem. Ive had every test to rule out a prolapse or anything that may have changed down there since having my two little boys. I was then refered while in hospitial to a Uroligist. He confirmed Trigonitis. He Did a cystoscopy and i had some relief after about a month for a couple of weeks and now the symptoms are starting to worsen again. I hate having to feel like this while i am trying to raise my two little boys some days i just dont want to get up.

I suffer from trigonitis as well. The only thing that ever seems to help is over the counter Urised or store brands that seem to be the same. I have this flaring up almost continuously and am in my 50s post menopause. I have had it for years.

Sorry I forgot to mention above that I don't get any symptoms when I am on my periods which makes me think it is related to hormones?

Hi,

I've been suffering with bladder problems for about 5 years now. It started with UTI's that kept reoccurring. I had a cystoscopy and urethral dilation but it didn't help. My cystoscopy revealed trauma in my trigone area! I wasn't told about these results for ages and was never given an explanation on why it had happened. I was just constantly offered antibiotics which didn't seem to do anything. I suppose I am lucky because I don't suffer from it every day, last year I went a few months with no pain and then all of a sudden it can just flare up. I have been suffering for the last wk with pain and urgency and I am so sick of it. I was due to go away for the w/end but couldn't because of my symptoms. Sometimes I feel that if I go back to see the urologist they will put me back on antibiotics which I don't really want because they don't seem to work. It is a really frustrating illness to have especially since I have only drank water for the last 10 years! People always say I should be the last person to suffer with bladder problems because of all the water I drink!
