I am an 18-year-old virgin. I never had vaginal, oral, or anal sex. My boyfriend and I did agree to doing something called dry humping. We humped on each other, but he had his boxers on, and I had my panties on. He had a condom on, and I had my underwear on when I humped on his penis while on top of him. He had a condom and boxers on when he was humping behind me by rubbing his penis between my but cheeks (my panties were on). There was no penetration; my panties were on and he had a condom and boxers on. If a doctor asks me if I am sexually active, do I say yes or no?

Hi Anon - If a doctor asks if you are sexually active, they are asking from a medical perspective and may also want to discuss birth control options. It's the same as a radiologist asking if you could be pregnant before doing an x-ray, they want to take the best precautions for your health. The answer to the question is technically no, you are not sexually active, as sperm must enter the vagina in order to get pregnant and that doesn't happen during dry humping. If you think you may be headed toward progressing beyond dry humping then you may want to share that with your doctor and discuss birth control.

It's not very likely. Most STDs are spread through direct sexual contact with an infected person. However, you should be aware that public lice and scabies can be spread through interactions with infested clothes, sheets, towels, etc as well as through close personal contact with an infected person.
