Does This Mean It's Something Bad?

Hi, I noticed something in my breasts when I went for back treatment because I have scoliosis. Around my breasts I feel alot of tightness and feels like muscle pain to me but I can't tell very much because I have fibrocystic breasts. It's been awhile that I actually feel like their is something on the left side of my left breast I feel lots of pain and discomfort by touch. When I mentioned this to the back specialist he was treating the area of my left breast by pressing around my breasts and he also told me he felt something. He also told me the pain that I have it's from a breast nodule. When he presses down beside my breasts I get so much pain in a way that I feel all the pain is coming out of me. You know what I mean by this? I can't tell if it's muscle related because of the scoliosis I have. I can't stop thinking from what he told me. I'm wondering having pain from a breast nodule what does it mean exactly? Is it anything bad? I know I have to go to my own doctor to take care of this matter though. Please let me know about this soon.

I see okay thanks. For breast nodules what do you think they do about it if you feel pain coming from there?

Hi Melissa

Breast nodules are common with your condition - fibrocystic breasts. They are a symptom of fibrocystic breasts and can sometimes be very painful for a person with fibrocystic breasts. These nodules are mostly harmless/benign so that is likely the case with you but as you are seeing your doctor soon, make mention of them.
