about a week ago my boyfriend and i were making out pretty heatedly and things got a little carried away. we were dry humping and he had a layer of underwear as well as his thick pair of basketball shorts. my underwear were pushed off to the side... he never really penetrated me and he said he didn't ejaculate, but we've both been really worried and scared that i am pregnant. we've been googling and reading a ton of different articles that have totally freaked us out. I was supposed to start my period two days ago but haven't yet. this isn't super unusual, but still worrying. I haven't had much discharge and was optimistic until today.. my breasts have started to become tender and i get sporadic cramps... i took a pregnancy test about four days ago which i know could have been too early to be correct.. but i just need some answers of if there is any possible way i could be pregnant...

Guide

Hello dancegirl1,
It is impossible to get pregnant from this event. It is simply not how the science works.
The ejaculation process is so important because the sperm needs to be sent the right direction (so to speak). If, for example, sperm got on the outside of her vagina, it would not survive much less be able to travel through your clothes, through the vagina, past the cervix and make you pregnant. Sperm does not have a compass to the uterus, and does not automatically swim there no matter what the conditions.
You can relax. You are having normal PMS symptoms. The amount of vaginal discharge (whether more or less) is not related to pregnancy. Late or irregular periods are common for most women and usually nothing to worry.
The link below explains in more detail why dry humping cannot make you pregnant:
