Hey, Im 20yrs old with no children. I suppose to have my period on the April 15 but when I used the restroom yesterday afternoon I noticed there was blood on the tissue but not in the toilet! When i went again last night there was the same thing with a few clots in the toilet. Today in class I felt as if I had come on my period and went to check and yep there was some blood but it was dark like a brownish red instead of the pinkish red yesterday. It feels like Im on my period but I never came on early before. There is not a lot of blood as if it was my period tho and Im a heavy flower lol. My last period was March 14-17th. After the 17th my boyfriend and I were having sex like crazy until now. Im confused on if this could be implantation or just an early period. I went to see my school nurse and my test came back negative but she said it could be too early to detect and she knows for sure its not a miscarriage because the test would have been positive. Any thoughts??? Help!

Welcome to EmpowHER. Yes it's possible for your cycle to change. If you are still concerned, you might want to wait a few days and retake a pregnancy test. It's important to use protection such as a condom or birth control pills. To avoid an unwanted pregnancy. The pull out method is not safe against pregnancy. Some women experience spotting during implantation. But if you've had bleeding for several days now. It might be your period.

It's me again! I was wondering if it was possible to have a heavy flow of blood during early pregnancy. I believe its my period but I never been early before and me and my boyfriend have unprotected sex but he never ejaculates in me. He always pulls out. I'm really confused about whats going on down there. I read that some people can have a heavy flow of blood during their 1st trimester. Of course I know every pregnancy differs because every female is not the same but I just refuse to believe that my period has come 5 days early. Has this happened to anyone else???
