Guide

Hello, Anon.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

ECP (emergency contraception) was developed for the use in emergencies - an unplanned sexual encounter or contraception failure. It contains a much higher dose of hormones than the normal contraceptive pill, so you should not use it regularly. Doing so can cause hormonal imbalances. If you find you are using it often, you need to see your gynecologist to reassess your birth control method or to get on regular birth control.
