Another way to deal with this if it is not pin-worms, is to drink Acidophiles. I drink several Bio K's and it usually only takes about three bottles of it. But a lot of times your body has too much bad yeast in your colon. And you need to balance it back out with good yeast. Same principle as getting a yeast infection.

Find a good health food store and go and buy liquid Acidophiles and drink away. I had it really bad after a trip to India. Drank bad water or ate some bad food. But it caused severe diarrhea and so forth. and left me with a hiney that wouldn't quit on the itch and it was not funny at all. Came back to America and drank Bio-K it was gone by that night. But I suffered terribly before I got home. Highly suggest even for Americans to do a de-worming cleanse. Even in America many have all forms of worms. Some are microscopic. We think in terms of third world countries having the problem. But it is not true. Everyone should look at a way to do a cleanse every so often for their bodies. It you drink bad water and ate some type of bad food. The aftermath after getting sick from it can lead to exactly this problem. Because it went in there and wipes out your good bacteria you have in your colon.

I hope you find relief!

Anon - You need to give this more time. Thrush can be a difficult condition to treat, and it will take longer than three days to start feeling relief. Thrush is a yeast or fungal infection, and you're going to have to make sure you follow treatment exactly as directed. It would also help to have somewhat loose underwear, and cotton would be better than nylon or other synthetic fabrics. Your anus should be wiped clean backward after defecation with white tissue or clean water. If you can, avoid colored and/or fragranced toilet paper. I know it may be hard, but I hope you can find a way to hang in there until the medication is able to give your greater relief. Good luck to you. I hope you feel better soon. Pat
