Hi, if I have Endometrial Hyperplasia, will I be able to take birth control pills at all?

Endometrial hyperplasia is considered a precancerous thickening of the endometrium. It is common with this condition to experience prolonged and heavy periods. It is important to receive proper treatment from a doctor.

Treatment may include birth control pills, other medication, or a D&C. In severe cases, your doctor may suggest hysterectomy.

Please keep up with appointments with a doctor and ask her about the use of birth control pills for your particular case.
