Thank you for your question.

It sounds like you are very knowledgeable on your condition, but I wanted to break-down some of the medical terms so that we know we are both on the same page, as "chronic endocervicitis with squamous metaplasia" sounds very daunting and terrifying.
- Endocervicitis: Lining of the cervix ("endo" and "cervix"), with some inflammation seen ("itis")
- Squamous: Type of cell
- Metaplasia: Change in cell, could be an abnormal cell growth

Not all abnormal cell growths are cancerous; most are benign. What your doctor found was that part of the cells lining the cervix area had some changes, along with inflammation, and your doctor is wanting to monitor these changes with another Pap smear in 6 months. The possibility of cervical cancer depends on many factors, but as I said, most cell changes are benign, and another test in 6 months will help to determine if there are any additional changes.

Unfortunately, we can not tell you if you should stop taking, or continue taking, tamoxipen; this is something you would need to speak to your doctor(s) about.

Please let us know how you are doing! How long ago did you begin treatment for breast cancer?
