estrogen alternatives

I have had breast cancer twice and have had a double mastectomy down to the bone. I have black facial hair on my face and neck and have had it for years. I am not allowed to take estrogen. I know that the low estrogen in my body could be the culprit. Are there any alternatives or anything I can do to cut down on my facial and neck hairs. It really bothers me. Is there alternatives that I can take instead of estrogen? I can't afford any expensive ways to remove the hair so please don't offer any solutions regarding that. I also am post menopausal. Thanks for any advice you can give me. It will be most appreciated.

Hello ronda5150,

You have endured so much. I can appreciate how bothersome the black facial and neck hair must be.

Unfortunately, there are no estrogen alternatives, that I am aware of. Waxing may be something you could try. Waxing kits are relatively inexpensive but the procedure is uncomfortable. The results can last for several weeks.

Maryann, thank you so much. I will have to try the waxing. Take care, ronda5150.
