Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Unless otherwise indicated, exercise is good for absolutely everything.

With arthritis, exercise is always recommended as being a "must do". The best exercises are walking, swimming (and a hot tub after, when possible, is great) and other low impact exercises like elipticals, exercise bikes (or regular bikes) and yoga/pilates is excellent for helping range-of-motion and more supple joints. All exercise is good for mental health - this is important for anyone in general but for those with chronic conditions like arthritis.

Best,
Susan
