For the past 2 weeks I have been feeling super nauseated and have the globus sensation in my throat all the time and it makes me feel gaggy and gross. I haven't vomited, but i have had diarrhea a few times. I work with kids and right before Christmas break there was a bug going around. Also I started my second pack of birth control pills (Sprintec 28) on Sunday the 1st and didn't have any ill effects the first month.
So my questions are:
1) Can you have a stomach bug without vomiting?
2) Should I call my doctor?
3) Could it be my pill that's making me feel so sick?
Thanks in advance!

MoeyBear,
It sounds like you may have caught that pesky bug from the children that you work with. You can have a stomach bug and not vomit-- this is not necessarily a requirement of the bug. Try to eat things that are easily digested like saltine crackers, jello, and since you have diarrhea eat: bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. Maintain hydrated and as long as it doesn't get any worse and you follow this, then you'll start feeling better soon. If it gets worse then call your doctor.
Best of luck,
Rosa
