Only when I lay down and start to sleep and a deep sleep is out of the question..Leg and feet cramps, where did this come from and how can you distinguish the difference on what type of cramps they are ? They started little by little and then worsened over the last year..I have been diabetic 2 for 3 years now , but some cramps in feet and legs were already happening longer than 10 years ago..

Dear Anon,

Thank you for your post.

See your doctor for an evaluation, especially as you are a diabetic. We can't know what might be causing this pain. Some things you can do at home, take a warm bath before bed, take Ibuprofen (if you can take it) to help with pain. Keeping your legs elevated with pillows.
