I've been on aubra for over a year now from PP. I've went to my doctor to now go on birth control pills and I was given a generic brand of birth control. It says that it is exactly the same as Aubra brand, but just a generic brand. I am nervous I am going to have side effects and weight gain with this generic brand when I didn't have it on Aubra. Is this possible if they are supposed to be the same pill? I am not taking a break between the packs either, I am finishing the placebo week of Aubra then going straight onto the generic pack

Hello Coco123456,

You should be fine with the generic brand. The difference is in the cost.
