Good day, can you assist me with some answers?.... My wife did not bleed when disvirgined but now that we make love, I can hardly feel anything but she cries that she feels pain. Even after a nice foreplay , I can not go deep because she is always talking of pain. Please advise me and let me know what is going on.

The medical term for painful intercourse is dyspareunia, which is defined as persistent or recurrent genital pain that occurs just before, during or after intercourse.
Causes vary from physical to psychological.
Involuntary spasms of the muscles of the vaginal wall can make attempts at penetration very painful.
A problem present at birth, such as the absence of a fully-formed vagina or development of a membrane that blocks the vaginal opening (imperforate hymen), could be the underlying cause of dyspareunia. This second cause is called imperforate hymen and may be your wife's issue since you mentioned that she did not have any bleeding after her first sexual intercourse.
Anonymous, I suggest your wife schedule an appointment with a gynecologist.

Contrary to popular belief, no a girl does not have to bleed when she loses her virginity. This belief stems from the thought that a hymen must tear and cause bleeding if a woman is a virgin. But the facts are that:
1. Some girls are born without a hymen;
2. The hymen may tear naturally when a girl plays sports or engages in any physical activity;
3. The hymen is not always smooth but tends to be perforated and that the perforations may get bigger and cause the hymen to break once a girl menstruates;
4. The hymen can be broken by the use of tampons;
5. The hymen may be very small or very elastic so that no breakage occurs at all (some women even become pregnant while their hymens are still intact);
6. A hymen may not bleed when broken.
