Grand Mal seizure

My husband had an anoxic brain injury five years ago.about a month or so ago he fell and we were in the hospital,he was not given all of his meds.a week later he had a grand mal seizure. Can it cause more damage? He now can't walk.

Epilepsy after brain trauma is not uncommon. However, we can't say if there is a link in your husband's case or that a recent lack of medication caused it.
How was your husband doing since his brain injury? In what ways was he functional? What is his treatment plan since being discharged from the hospital?
