I m 24 years old,married,no children.My period cycle is 29 days.Last month I had my period on 21 may.Now I had it on 28june.In actual cycle I should have it on 21june...But it is 1 week late.Usually my period last only for 5 or 6 days,in which on 1st three days i hav heavy flow.I used to have stomach ache and mucles on my leg aches on my 1st day.This time i dint have any pain and my periods doesnt stop on 12th day too...this time blood flow was also less.only little blood flow on each day.i feel so tired too.And also me and my husband had intercourse on the day just before my periods (ie on 27 june).why is it so that my period doesnt stop.this is the 1st time i m having this problem....is there any chance of pregnancy...wen shuld i do sex with my husband to have 100% +ve result for pregnancy test...

Hi hurry,
Like I said before, not all cycles will be exactly the same every month. If you feel it's not normal the flow of your period or the length of it. You need to discuss it with a gynecologist. Some conditions can also cause heavy bleeding and should be treated immediately.

Welcome to EmpowHER. Not all cycles will be the same every month. It can be a week earlier or later. If you are trying to conceive, it's best to keep track of your cycle for a few months. To know exactly when you are ovulating. A woman with regular cycles, usually ovulates between days 11-21 of a cycle. Counting the first day of your period as day 1. Other ways to keep track of your fertile days, is tracking your basal body temperature method. This is your temperature at rest as soon as your awake in the morning. A woman's basal body temperature rises slightly with ovulation.
